Cover Girl Ready Set Gorgeous Foundation Review

Cover Girl came out with some new collections for the summer. 

Here is their #instaglam collection with Katy Perry promoting it. 

I love trying new makeup so as soon as I heard I went to my local Walgreens and bought some!
They have a great range of colors which is usually hard to find in drugstore brands! 

Here are my colors:

Foundation 310

Powder Foundation 305-310

The foundation contains no SPF but I use one under my makeup so that wasn't an issue for me. 

Its fragrance free.

It has a matte finish which I personally love.

And its oil free.

I was going to be out all day today so I applied it at 9am.

Full face makeup

It kept me shine free for about 5-6 hours. I didn't touch up at all during those 5 hours. Because it didn't make me look greasy, just a bit dewy. 

It concealed most of my freckles but didn't conceal major dark spots on my face. 

How I applied it: 

I don't show my SPF application because, I automatically wake up in the am, wash my face and apply my SPF daily

 So I then apply my primer by pressing it into my face 

Here I am using my Too Faced Primed Poreless primer. 

 

I put about 7-8 dots of foundation on my face, and then blend it out with my beauty blender

Now, here it is after 5 hours with full makeup

after 9 hours

Overall, I love it, it felt lightweight, almost like a tinted moisturizer.

 The foundation evened out my redness and gave 

me medium coverage. 

This will definitely be my go to foundation during the summer here in Florida!
