Embryolisse Emulsion Hydra-Mat Review

It's been about 2 weeks now that I have been using my Embryolisse Emulsion Hydra-mat (Hydra-mat Emulsion) Freshness Care for Normal and Mixed Skin 40 Ml.

It is amazing!!! I usually get so oily about an hour or two after I do my makeup and have to constantly touch up or use blotting papers.
I put this on my clean face, a primer, and then I'll apply my makeup.
I only have to use a blotting paper once during the day.
That is pretty amazing for Florida weather!!!

This isn't a primer so it doesn't have that silicone feel to it.
Here it is out of the bottle.

And here it is rubbed in:

It contains corn starch that absorbs excess oil and reduces the shininess on your face. Pretty cool!!

If you have oily skin, you should definitely try this!!!

My skin care regimen

After giving birth to my daughter, my skin started to change. LOL

I have never had any problem with my skin, but I guess something changes in you after giving birth.
I kept getting this rash on my forearms. At first, my doctors kept telling me I was allergic to the sun.
So I everyday I had to put a sunscreen on.
But that didn't help, and I finally went to see a dermatologist, turned out I too had eczema.
My doctor recommended a very good hydrating lotion and gave me some steroid cream to put on my skin when I had a breakout.
I couldn't find a lotion that worked, I went through 10 different brands/types.
I finally did my research and realized that my skin needed vitamin E.
All of the lotions I was buying and using contained Vitamin E.
But they also contained tons of chemicals that weren't good.
So I headed over to amazon and bought some Vitamin E Oil
My skin has been so soft and I haven't had a rash in so long!!
I sometimes mix it with a little bit of Sweet Almond Oil and this gives my skin a nice glow.
I will never go back to regular lotions!

I hate eczema!

My daughter was diagnosed with eczema shortly after she was born.
I searched high and low for a great product to use on her skin.
I naturally used what her doctor recommended at first, which was Aquaphor
But honestly it was so expensive and she was always so slippery! LOL
I tried every lotion I could find that was specifically for eczema or dry skin.
I finally came across, Weleda Baby Calendula Lotion
I absolutely loved it!!
It smells amazing!
It contains calendula which created a huge difference in her skin.
It was also a bit expensive but she wasn't slippery LOL and it actually took care of her eczema.
She's 3 years old now, and rarely has a break out. :)
